A small city company has won a $400,000 state loan to expand, creating seven jobs.
Energy Wall secured the 10-year loan through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority, the authority said Wednesday.
The loan will help fund the firm’s $1.06 million expansion of its production of modular heat exchange components. The components are used in energy recovery ventilator units of HVAC systems.
According to the authority, the project will create seven jobs and retain six jobs at the Burle Business Park company.
Helping Energy Wall obtain the loan was EDC Finance Corp., a Lancaster-based nonprofit that helps businesses obtain state and federal financing for expansions.
