The fastest-growing, well-financed Silicon Valley startup is hiring 65 employees and retrofitting a large facility to stage its East Coast expansion
PALO ALTO, CA – DECEMBER 8, 2017 – Gobble, a meal-kit provider serving 32 states across the country and backed by Silicon Valley luminaries, has chosen Lancaster, PA as the staging ground for their East Coast expansion.
At a job fair held last week, the company received more than 100 applications and made more than 20 offers for full-time employment. The company seeks to hire 45 additional full-time employees now to work at the new Gobble East facility which will be used for food preparation and order fulfillment operations, with more jobs planned for the immediate future. They encourage prospective applicants with backgrounds in shipping and receiving, food preparation, and warehouse and assembly line operations to join them at one of two job fairs to be held December 13,14 and 15 from 10 am – 2pm and on Jan 3,4 and 5. Both the December and January Job Fairs will be held at the PA CareerLink at 1016 N. Charlotte St., Lancaster, PA.
Gobble provides freshly prepped one-pan meals that busy families can cook in under 15 minutes. The company recently announced a $15 million dollar Series B investment from top-tier Silicon Valley investment firms Khosla Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Trinity Ventures and Initialized Capital, bringing the total capital raised to over $26 million.
