LANCASTER, PA, SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 — Following its acceptance of President Lisa Riggs’ resignation, the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County (EDC) announces its selection of Winner Partners, a privately held executive recruitment firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, to lead the search efforts for EDC’s next President.

In the wake of Riggs’ departure, an internal search committee was formed under the leadership of EDC Board Vice Chair Liz Martin (President, Ironstone Spring Farm and Senior Advisor, Martin Insurance Agency, a division of Enders) to identify, solicit proposals from, and evaluate executive search firms interested in partnering with EDC. Martin confirmed the committee’s engagement with Winner Partners at EDC’s Board of Directors meeting in August.

Winner Partners is a certified, woman-owned business with a proven record matching executive search consultants with successful industry leaders. Working with EDC on the President search are the firm’s managing partners, its inclusion and diversity partner, as well as a nonprofit partner who is a former economic development CEO.
