Presenters

Rebecca Denlinger

Building on 25 years of professional success, Rebecca started Rising Tide Collaborative to create a company that embodies her passion for helping people and communities accomplish great things that improve quality of life. Throughout a career that has included leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, Ms. Denlinger has been instrumental in helping organizations build capacity as well as create and execute action-oriented strategic plans. Ms. Denlinger has helped secure over $150 million in community and economic development program and project funding impacting over 50 communities. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Delaware and a masters of Public Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She is also a Certified Economic Development Professional through the National Development Council.

Kathleen Frankford

Kathleen Frankford is the President of Discover Lancaster, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where she oversees an annual budget of $3.2 million and a team of 22. Before joining the organization in 2013, Kathleen served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, Tourism Director at the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau in Carlisle, and Vice President of Marketing & Sales at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg. Kathleen earned a Bachelor’s in Communications from Millersville University and holds a Master’s of Public Relations from Temple University. In 2015, she became a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME). The CDME status is recognized within the tourism industry as its highest educational achievement. She also serves on the Advocacy Committee of Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI), and is a member of its CDME Board, and its Destination and Travel Foundation Board. Kathleen resides in Harrisburg with her husband and three children.
